Blake Martin, his wife Sarai and daughter Lynleigh live in the Hill Creek community of Conway county, on their family farm. Blake felt the call to ministry at the age of 14 which was when he surrendered to the preaching ministry. He has served on staff at various churches for the past 23 years. He has held the title of youth pastor, worship pastor, interim pastor and senior pastor. Blake is currently the pastor of Old Hickory Baptist Church in Hattieville. Whether working cows or shepherding people, Blake’s passion and driving force is seeing God’s grace extended to others just as it has been extended to Him. This is the motivation behind the show he writes and produces for Lifeword.org, called Tailgate Talks, which airs weekly around the world. Blake currently serves as the chaplain for the local chapter of the Cattlemen’s Association as well as serving in his role as board chairman for Abundant Life
